How do I book a tour?

Full payment is required in advance and can be purchased through our website. Once you have paid you will receive a booking confirmation by email.

Unfortunately we do not accept payment in cash on the day.

Is the tour guaranteed to run?

We require a minimum number of bookings to run our tours. In case of insufficient numbers your booking will be cancelled 72 hours before and will be refunded to the original form of payment. Please check your email inbox the day before the tour!

Is it possible to cancel my booking once it is purchased?

Direct online bookings – Cancellations made by email more than 7 days before the tour will be refunded in full. No refunds can be made after the 7 day period, although you can transfer your ticket to someone else if you would like.

No shows will not be refunded or allowed to book an alternative date.

Indirect online bookings – for bookings made via other websites / online travel agencies such as Tripadvisor, Viator, Getyourguide… please check conditions on your ticket and cancel via the 3rd party supplier you used. Their terms and conditions apply.

Where is the meeting point?

You will receive an email confirmation from us with the meeting point. It will be in Dublin city centre.

What happens if I arrive late?

The tours will start at the specified time and we cannot wait for late arrivals. You will be given your guide’s phone number and are more than welcome to catch up, however no refund will be given for missed tastings. Please note that the guide will not be able to answer calls once the tour has started.

Do you cater vegetarians/ people with food allergies/specific diets/vegans?

Please email us before making the booking if you have any specific dietary requirement as tastings may contain dairy, gluten, alcohol, meat, dairy, fish/shellfish and alcohol with no alternatives in some cases.

Unfortunately our tours are not suitable for vegans.

How many people are on the tours?

We run tours for a maximum of 14 people.

Do you have a waitlist for fully booked tours?

Yes, we do. Please contact us if you wish to be added to our waitlist, we will email you if more spots become available.

What should I wear?

Comfortable shoes, bring rain gear or/and sunglasses. It’s Ireland so you never know what the weather is going to be like!

Do you run tours if the weather is bad?

We operate the tours, rain or shine.

Can I book a private tour for a group?

You certainly can, email us with the date and number of people and we will provide you with a quote.

Are the tours family friendly?

As we have limited availability and visit small places all participants should purchase a full-priced ticket. To avoid disappointment, we don’t recommend joining our tours with small children / younger teenagers. There is a lot of listening, standing and walking (in sometimes challenging Irish weather) required for about 3 hours.

In our experience, we have found that guests under the age of 18 might have a harder time enjoying themselves on a tour.

The tour was designed with adults in mind and unfortunately we feature alcohol and strong flavours that are not suitable.

 

Do you run tours in the evening?

Unfortunately we do not run tours in the evenings at the moment.

My plane lands in Dublin in the morning, will I make it on time for the tour?

We cannot guarantee anything in this case and we leave it to the customers to decide. Please keep in mind that you will need some time to disembark the plane, clear passport controls, collect your luggage, collect your car rental, find your hotel… The airport is about 20-25 minutes away from Dublin city centre where we start our tours.

How do I redeem a gift voucher?

If you have received the new digital gift voucher you can redeem it by booking online through the BOOK NOW buttons on this website.You can redeem the old voucher by emailing us the voucher number, the name of the person who bought it and the date you would like to book, just fill in this form.

Is it possible to change / cancel a booking made with a gift voucher?

Gift vouchers are non refundable. Once you have made the booking you can amend the date up to 7 days before the date of the event. No shows will not be allowed to redeem the voucher at another date.
