While we think you should visit our little island all year round, we have to admit that summer is probably the best time of the year to visit Ireland.
We certainly think so after watching the latest video released by Tourism Ireland about ‘what makes Ireland so special in summer.’
The video highlights all the great things you can do in Ireland during the summer months such as:
- Attending one of our summer festivals (e.g Kilkenny Arts festival, Bloomsday Dublin, Sea Sessions in Donegal
- Surfing in the following locations (Portrush in Antrim, Mullaghmore Head in Sligo)
- Taking an epic road trip (Causeway Coastal Route, Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland’s Ancient East,
- Island hopping (Devenish Island in Co. Fermanagh, Dursey Island in Co. Cork, The Skelligs in Co. Kerry)
