5 Irish Craft Beer Pubs in Dublin You Should Visit

5 Best Irish Craft Beer Pubs in Dublin

At Delicious Dublin Tours we love craft beer and have tried pretty much all of the Irish craft pubs in the city. Here we have selected five of our favourite places where you can sample real Irish craft beer.

L Mulligan Grocer

Possibly our favourite Irish craft beer pub, not only does it offer a great range of Irish, International and even their own beer range, it’s also a fantastic spot for food. Located in Stoneybatter it’s a great neighbourhood pub with an extensive drink list and some very good whiskey. There is also a grocery section open at the weekend where you can buy craft beer, breads and other local products.

The Beer Market

One of the latest additions to the Dublin craft beer pub’s scene, owned by Galway Bay Brewery the Beer Market can be found on High Street in Christchurch Dublin. They have over 20 taps which are numbered (so you dont have to mispronounce the name) and always a smell of Pie Man’s pies waffling in the air.

W. J Kavanagh’s

Another good place for Irish craft beer on the Northside is W. J Kavanagh’s. The pub is spacious and the staff friendly, they have an great choice of Irish craft beer and also do pub food. If you fancy buying beer to take away there is also an off-licence next door, which always comes handy!

W. J Kavanagh’s, 4 & 5 Lower Dorset Street, Dublin 1

P. Mac’s

We admit it, P. Mac’s might end up on the hipster end of the scale when it comes to craft beer pubs in Dublin, but we love it! It’s dark and candle-lit inside, they have retro board games, most of their customers are bearded and the music is loud. It’s a lively spot where you can enjoy a good craft beer right in the heart of Dublin city centre. Definitely recommended!

P. Mac’s, Stephen’s Street Lower, Dublin 2

The Porterhouse

Finally, no list of Dublin Craft Beer pubs would be complete without mention of The Porterhouse. These guys have been the pioneers of Dublin craft beer and have been at it long before our current trend towards craft. They have their own brewery with their own range of beers as well as a great range of International craft beers besides.

The Porterhouse, Nassau Street and Temple Bar, Dublin 2
